It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Jerome Noel from Long Grove. Known as Jerry, he was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend, who left us peacefully at the age of 86. Jerry was born to Donald and Velvetta Noel of Long Grove. He graduated from DeWitt High School, followed by three years serving in the U.S. Army, including being stationed in Frankfurt, Germany. After returning to Iowa he met his loving wife, Connie. They married in 1964, and Jerry graduated from Saint Ambrose University in 1965. more
