Elizabeth Erin Ohsann, 42, passed away on Thursday, Feb. 15, at her home in Eldridge.
Notwithstanding a diagnosis of cancer at the age of 20, Elizabeth fought valiantly to overcome the disease and its side effects in the subsequent years. She graduated from the University of Iowa with a bachelor of arts in psychology while working as a research assistant in the psychology department. Her daughters, Olivia Rose and Lillian May, are her greatest achievement.
She was born on Feb. 18, 1981, in Davenport.

Survivors include her daughters; mother, Rebecca Ohsann of Florida; sisters, Sarah (Ohsann) Schaller of Eldridge, Michelle (Ohsann) Vancini of Colorado; brothers, Brad Ohsann of Park View, Nathan Ohsann of Colorado, Zach Ohsann of Arkansas; many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
