Each fall the North Scott High School Service Club holds it annual blood drive in the school's auxiliary gym, and once again Lancer students answered the call, including 53 first-time donors. Students donated 107 pints of blood. "Today's donations will help more than 300 patients in need," said Angela Reese, Donor Relations consultant with the Mississippi Valley Regional Blood Center. "The time of this drive is excellent as we are heading into the holidays and winter weather. I always love seeing young students giving back to their communities in this way."
