Walcott Day brought hundreds to town Friday and Saturday.
Festivities began with kids races and fireworks Friday afternoon. Adult races stepped off the next morning, followed closely by the Walcott Day parade.
In the afternoon, hundreds of visitors gathered in Victory Park to watch outhouse races and tratcor pulls beneath Old Glory. Drinks, burgers and walking tacos proliferated.
The pie auction saw 43 pies raise just shy of $50,000—an average higher than $1,000 per pie. Full results of the contest and auction are below.
