A Mass of Christian Burial for Jane (Goethals) Remley, 94, of Eldridge, formerly of Davenport, will be held at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 30 (today), at Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church, Davenport. Visitation will be two hours prior to Mass on Wednesday at the church. Burial will be in Davenport Memorial Park. Halligan-McCabe-DeVries Funeral Home, Davenport, is assisting the family with arrangements.
Mrs. Remley died Saturday, Sept. 26, 2026, at Grand Haven Retirement Community, Eldridge.
Jane Goethals was born Oct. 15, 1931, in the family farm in Long Grove, the daughter of Camiel and Alice (DeWulf) Goethals.
She married William Remley in 1951.
Survivors include her children, Debra (Tom) Brownson, Denise (Dennis) Testroet, Donna Arbogast, Susan Sunleaf and Annette (Rick) Ripperger; 11 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church or to St. Croix Hospice.
