As Eldridge works to market itself as a prime location for industry, city officials have recognized the need for additional infrastructure. To that end, for the last nine months, city staff have been meeting with representatives from Iowa American Water to discuss ways the two entities might partner on projects, including additional lift stations on the south side of town, as well as improvements to the wastewater treatment plant, and a possible additional well.
