Schary loved being on the water and golfing weekly in her women’s league. She loved cooking, entertaining, being with friends and family, especially her kids and grandkids.

Those left to honor Schary’s memory include her daughters, Jen Shouse of Des Moines, and Becky (Kris) Carter of Chesterton; her grandchildren, Lillian and Samuel Carter, Makayla, Cooper and Brayden Genck of Waukee; her sisters-in-law, Pamela (Kevin) Kerker of Pennsylvania, Pennie (Rick) Engler of Eldridge, Brenda (Joe) Drummond of Long Grove; her brother-in-law, Carey (Bob) Shouse of Moline; and her nieces and nephews, Kate Frye, Valerin Morris, James Gimbel, Rachel Burmeister, Nikki Roth and Ben Engler.
