A visitation for Richard “Dick” Welch, 81, of Davenport, will be held from 4-6 p.m. Thursday, June 11, at the Runge Mortuary, Davenport. Per his wishes, cremation rites will be accorded.
Mr. Welch died Monday, June 1, 2020, in Davenport.
Richard Welch was born March 8, 1939, in Davenport, the son of Norma Welch.
He married Priscilla Fosdyck in 1961 in Bettendorf. She preceded him in death.
In the late 1960s, he established Kustom Klean Carpet and Upholstery, becoming the first company of that kind in the Quad City area.
His hobbies were Corvettes, boating, and NASCAR.
Survivors include his daughter, Tamara Welch; two granddaughters, Danielle (Ben) Grimm and Angela (Mike) Smith; and four great-grandsons.
