A funeral service for John A. Kuhl, 83, of Eldridge, was held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, May 31, at Chambers Funeral Home, Eldridge. Visitation was from 10 a.m. until the time of the service on Tuesday at the funeral home. Burial was private.
Mr. Kuhl died Wednesday, May 25, 2022, at his home.
John Kuhl was born Feb. 16, 1939, in Davenport, the son of Harvey and Elsie (Hamann) Kuhl.
He married Jill Judd on June 30, 2001, in Eldridge.
Survivors include his wife; children, Sally (Michael) Buford of Louisiana, Steve Kuhl of Florida, Thomas (Carolyn) Kuhl of Florida, Dennis Kuhl of Kentucky, Jud (Erin) Fawcett, Burlington, Nathan (Renee) Fawcett of North Carolina, and Adam (Amanda) Fawcett, Burlington; 27 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; a sister, Alice Snyder of Florida; and a brother, Earl (Dorothy) Kuhl, Eldridge.
