Jacqueline Neese
A funeral service for Jacqueline “Jackie” Neese, 82, of Davenport, will be held at noon on Thursday, April 5, in the Runge Mortuary Chapel, Davenport. Burial will be in Davenport Memorial Park. Visitation will be Wednesday, April 4 (today), from 4-8 p.m. at the mortuary.
Mrs. Neese died Saturday, March 31, 2018.
Jacqueline Hawkins was born Nov. 18, 1935, in Davenport, the daughter of Charles and Irma (Bauswell) Hawkins.
She married Norman Neese on July 4, 1957, in Gulf Port, Ill. He died Feb. 8, 2008.
Her hobbies were watching John Wayne movies and playing bingo.
Survivors include her children, Irma (Randy) Cook, Mary (Roy) Robinson, Bob (Patt) Neese, Cindy (Al) Trivette, Patty Neese, Eddie Neese, Ted (Linda) Neese, and Janie (Keith) Haislip; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren; and her siblings, Alice Ashley and Hank Hawkins.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by three grandchildren, Keith Haislip Jr., Kevin Penrod, and Melissa Cook; her sisters, Marilyn and Lavern; and a brother, Charles.
