A celebration of life service for Colette Ann (Van Hamme) Newton, 69, of Davenport, was held at 2 p.m. Monday, Nov. 16, at the Runge Mortuary, Davenport. Visitation was two hours prior to the service on Monday at the mortuary.
Mrs. Newton died Wednesday, Nov. 4, 2020.
Colette Van Hamme was born Nov. 27, 1950, in Morrison, Ill., the daughter of Albert and Roberta (Walters) Van Hamme.
She married Paul W. Newton in 1970.
Survivors include her daughter, Kimberly Newton (Brad Genrich), Greenville, S.C.; a son, Scott (Michelle) Newton, Bettendorf; three grandchildren; a sister, Lana (Mark) Wolf, Anawan, Ill.; a brother, Mike (Barb) Van Hamme, Chandler, Ariz.; and a sister-in-law, Phyllis Price, Atlanta, Ga.
