Morgan Dunn will be the newest member of the North Scott School Board, joining Tracy Lindaman and Frank Wood as the winners of Tuesday's election.
Lindaman topped all vote getters in the contest, with 1,699. Wood garnered 1,392, with Dunn coming in third with 1,010.
Miguel Puentes came in fourth with 815 votes.
In contested elections, Amy Shannon and Ryan Christensen will return to the Long Grove City Council. Newcomer Jill Grunwald came in third.
Incumbent Zach Phares will once again join the Princeton City Council. He'll be joined by newcomer Lori Maher, who came in second and defeated incumbent Karen Woomert. Ann Geiger came in fourth. Mayor Travis Volrath also survived a write-in challenge from Tim Ruser.
In Walcott, the two city council seats on the ballot will be filled by Kirk Koberg and Bobbie Martinez. Current city council member Jacob Puck won the mayor's seat, so there will be an open seat on the council once he takes office.
In Eldridge's uncontested election, Jeff Ashcraft topped all candidates on the ballot, earning 718 votes. Incumbent council member Brian Dockery earned 620 votes, and there were 25 write in votes cast. Current council member Scott Campbell won 703 votes for mayor, with 54 write in votes cast.
Overall, turnout across the county was low. According to totals released by the Auditor's Office, turnout was recorded at 19.29%
