Janice and Don Johnson of Long Grove will celebrate their 40th wedding anniversary with an open house on Sunday, Sept. 3. All friends and relatives are invited to call from 1-4 p.m. at the Long Grove Community Building.
They were married Sept. 3, 1983, at Long Grove Christian Church.
Jan and Don were involved in the trucking industry for many years. Don drove a semi until he was 73 years old and retired after 50 years of trucking. The couple has lived on Mulberry Lane in Long Grove for 38 years.
Jan and Don were blessed with seven children, 22 grandchildren, and 23 great-grandchildren.
