John and Pam Pischke to note 50th anniversary June 27

John and Pam Pischke of rural DeWitt will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with a catered family gathering on Saturday, June 27. A trip is also planned for a future date.

Pamela Keppy, daughter of the late Bud and Helen Keppy of Donahue, and John Pischke, son of the late Bob and Joy Pischke of Eldridge, were married June 27, 1970, at Faith Lutheran Church in Eldridge.

John is a former teacher. He is currently state certified in 19th century limestone building restoration and has been self-employed since 1996. Pam retired in 2018 after 39 years as office manager and receptionist with Eldridge Family Dentistry.

They are the parents of Randy (Barb) Pischke of Bettendorf, and Mark (Melissa) Pischke of Geneseo, Ill.

Their grandchildren are Andrew, Colton, Elizabeth, Addison, and Matthew Pischke.
