JoAnn (Werthmann) Rekemeyer of Bennett will celebrate her 90th birthday with a family dinner.
JoAnn Werthmann was born Dec. 30, 1935. She married her husband, Dallas “Pete” Rekemeyer on May 18, 1957, at Holy Family Church in Davenport.
She is a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Tipton.
She is the mother of Craig (Kim) Rekemeyer of Tipton, and Colleen Ahlers of Bennett.
Her grandchildren are Jessie and Tim Dunton of Tipton, Kara Rekemeyer of Wiesbaden, Germany, Blake Rekemeyer of Tipton, Courtney and Asa Pool of Rock Island, Marissa and Bryan Cherryholmes of Davenport, Katie and Gideon Hambright of Urbandale, and Koby Eaker and Kaylee. She has eight great-grandchildren.
