The Muscatine County Zoning Board shot down a request to create a gun range for police training in Muscatine County on Friday Oct. 7, voting 4-1 to deny the 28-E agreement proposed by the county sheriff’s department and the City of Muscatine. more

On Saturday, Oct. 7, seven Wilton HS Choir basses participated in the RitterSing Tenor/Bass Choir Festival at Wartburg College. The guys got to sing with about 500 other tenors and basses from Iowa, Illinois and Minnesota, as well as one of the best vocal jazz groups in the world, “m-pact.”  more

Wilton Certified Local Government Commission (WCLGC) was established in 2017 to support, promote and identify historic districts, sites and buildings in our community. Since that time, we have completed many projects such as working with an historian to do an intensive level survey and then list Wilton’s downtown commercial district on the National Register. more
