America is traumatized by a singular event -- the assault on the Capitol incited by the highest governance official in our country. Compared to earlier impeachment initiatives related to a break-in of a Watergate office, Clinton ethics, or confusing Ukrainian policy entanglements, the authoritarian issues surrounding the seditious storming of the nation’s august Capitol are vastly more serious.
