A funeral service for Oda Viola Anderson, 96, of Fort Dodge, will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, July 31, at Zion Lutheran Church in Gowrie. Visitation will be two hours prior to the service on Monday at the church. Burial will be in Gowrie Township Cemetery.
Mrs. Anderson died Saturday, July 22, 2023, at Friendship Haven, Fort Dodge.
Oda Scherff was born March 17, 1927, in Fort Dodge, the daughter of Walter and Kamma Scherff.
She married Duane R. Anderson on April 29, 1945.
Survivors include her children, Pam Anderson, Apple Valley, Minn., Barry Anderson, Bettendorf, Terry (Sandy) Anderson, Muscatine, Shawn (JoAnn) Anderson, Gowrie, and Darin (Beth Ann) Anderson, Park View; 12 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to Friendship Haven in Fort Dodge.
