A private family graveside funeral service for Kevin M. Lamfers, 53, of rural Princeton, was held in Salem Lutheran Cemetery, rural Princeton. Visitation was Saturday, May 18, from 2-5 p.m. at the McGinnis-Chambers Funeral Home, Bettendorf.
Mr. Lamfers died Wednesday, May 15, 2024, at his home.
Kevin Lamfers was born July 21, 1970, in Ashton, Iowa, the son of Monte and Margaret (Schierholt) Lamfers.
He married Sue Hamilton on June 20, 2015, in Gatlinburg, Tenn.
Survivors include his wife, Sue; his sons, Andrew (Tammie) Lamfers, Davenport, and Noah (Megan) Lamfers, Waukee; two grandchildren; his mother, Margaret Lamfers, Ashton; his sisters, Lisa (Lyle) Huff, Ashton, and Kim (Kevin) Poeckes, Sheldon; and his twin brother, Keith (Joni) Lamfers, Ames.
Memorials may be made to the family for donations to Princeton community facilities and organizations.
