A Mass of Christian Burial for Francis R. “Frank” Sinnott, 85, of DeWitt, will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, March 16, at St. Ann Catholic Church, Long Grove. Visitation will be one hour prior to Mass on Thursday at the church. Burial will be in St. Ann’s Cemetery. The Halligan-McCabe-DeVries Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
Mr. Sinnott died Wednesday, March 8, 2023.
Francis Sinnott was born Dec. 19, 1937, in Ottumwa, the son of Francis and Winifred (Bluebaugh) Sinnott.
He married Shirley Scieszinski on Oct. 10. 1959, in Ottumwa.
Survivors include his children, Steven (Susan) Sinnott, DeWitt, Cynthia (Bill) Sweeney, Davenport, and Michael (Sherry) Sinnott, Eldridge; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and his siblings, Patrick Sinnott, Albia, and Mary (Gerald) Wilwert, Davenport.
Memorials may be made to the Congregation of the Humility of Mary or to Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church.
