A celebration of life service for Dean Strom, 82, of Davenport, will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 14, at Christ United Methodist Church, 2330 W. 41st St., Davenport. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service on Saturday at the church. Weerts Funeral Home, Davenport, is assisting the family with arrangements.
Mr. Strom died Saturday, Dec. 26, 2020, at the Clarissa C. Cook Hospice House, Bettendorf.
Dean Strom was born Dec. 2, 1938, in Kewanee, Ill., the son of John and Irene Strom.
He married Karen “Sue” Martz in 1977.
Survivors include his wife; his children, Dr. Steve (Shauna) Strom and Sherry (Mike) Stone, five grandchildren; his children from a previous marriage, Mike, Monica, Mark and Michelle; and his sisters, Lynne (Bob) Kuzminski and Marti (Ken) Costensen.
Memorials may be made to the Christ United Methodist Church music budget.
