David A. Dreesen, 64, of Red Oak, passed away unexpectedly at his home Thursday, Oct. 5, 2023.
He was born Jan. 29, 1959, in Davenport, the son of Peter and Janis Dreesen.
He graduated from North Scott High School in Eldridge, Class of 1977. Prior to retirement, David worked at various health care companies in the Omaha and Council Bluffs area.
David was an avid fisherman, he was a drummer, loved music, NASCAR, drag racing, Nebraska football and basketball. He loved spending time with his grandchildren.
Survivors include his children and their spouses, Amber and Steve Eppenbaugh of Omaha, Neb., and Paul and Hope Dreesen of Plattsmouth, Neb. Grandchildren include Ashton, Kameron, Kylan, Avalon, Emerson Eppenbaugh and Tahlia Dreesen. Former wife, Crystal Blaufuss. Siblings include his four sisters and their spouses, Catherine Myers, Eldridge, Constance and Daniel Peters, Honey Creek, Iowa, Deborah and Christopher Nighsonger, Cameron, Mo., and Patricia and Patrick Martin, Austin, Ind.
Dave was preceded in death by his parents, Peter and Janis Dreesen, Park View.
