Mike and Susan Meinert of Maysville celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with a dinner with close family and a trip to Mexico.
Susan Bezdek and Mike Meinert were married Jan. 6, 1973, at First Christian Church, Marion.
Mr. Meinert was engaged in farming and as a guitar teacher.
Mrs. Meinert was employed as a bookkeeper and office manager.
They are the parents of Kevin Meinert (Vickie Bouchard) of Rolling Meadows, Ill., and Keri Meinert of Eldridge.
They have four grandchildren: Ava Meinert, Bella Meinert, Alex Meinert and Collin Meinert.
