A funeral service for Jeffrey P. Schafer, 63, of Eldridge, will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 28, at Faith Lutheran Church, Eldridge. Private burial will be in Davenport Memorial Park. Visitation will be Wednesday, Dec. 27, from 4-7 p.m. at the church. Chambers Funeral Home, Eldridge, is assisting the family with arrangements.
Mr. Schafer died Friday, Dec. 22, 2017, at the Clarissa C. Cook Hospice House, Bettendorf.
Memorials may be made to the family to further his son Chad's education.
