The Eldridge council approved the final of three readings applying a new, planned residential overlay district on the Grunwald Grove second addition already zoned R-3 for multi-family homes. The overlay district was created to allow developer Dale Grunwald to build attached, four-plex townhomes, instead of the condominium buildings allowed under R-3.
