Each year, the Iowa High School Press Association holds its spring journalism contest, giving young journalists from across the state a chance to be recognized for their school newspaper. This year, Durant High School’s Wildcat Chronicles walked away with 35 awards from the Class A (small school) category and three awards from the All-Class (all schools) category. This is the most individual awards the Chronicles team has won in a single contest. more
