Dale "Browse" Arthur Telsrow, age 73, of Wilton, passed away Saturday, May 2, 2026, at MercyOne Genesis Davenport Medical Center. A memorial gathering will be held from 2-4 p.m., Sunday, May 31, at Bentley Funeral Home, Durant. A private family burial will take place in Durant Cemetery at a later date. Browse was born on May 6, 1952, the son of Darold and Delores (Ross) Telsrow in Davenport. He graduated from Durant High School with the Class of 1970. After graduation, Browse farmed alongside his dad, Darold, on the family farm in rural Stockton.
A proud CDL driver for more than 50 years, he spent the majority of his life behind the wheel, doing what he loved most. Browse worked as a truck driver and grain hauler, eventually owning and operating Telsrow Trucking. He later worked as a dedicated farmhand for Darel Hein and went on to drive truck for Duffe Grain for many years before retiring.
Family was always the center of Browse’s world. He treasured time spent at family gatherings and was happiest simply being at home. A true homebody, he appreciated the simple pleasures in life - enjoying his new cars, especially his beloved Fords, listening to country music, and relaxing with a cold Miller Lite and a bag of peanut M&M’s.
Browse enjoyed watching NASCAR and followed his favorite driver, Denny Hamlin. He was also a devoted Hawkeye fan, especially when it came to football season. In his younger years when winter arrived, he enjoyed snowmobiling and embracing the outdoors. Browse will be remembered for his strong work ethic, his steady presence, and the quiet way he showed his love for family and friends.
Browse will be lovingly remembered by one sister, Deanna Reimers of Davenport, Iowa; three brothers, Duane "Dewey" Telsrow of Wilton, Douglas Telsrow of Whittier, N.C., and Dennis Telsrow of Durant; and three stepsisters, Cindy Ploog of Charlotte, Sally Schmidt of West Branch, and Susan Heilmann of West Branch; and numerous other relatives and friends.
Browse was preceded in death by his parents, Darold and Delores; his stepmother, Ruby Telsrow; a brother, Donovan Telsrow; a sister, Deborah Cole; two brothers-in-law, Kris Heilmann and Jim Reimers; and a sister-in-law, Peg Conrad.
