Wilton school to provide summer meals

The USDA has issued nationwide waivers which allow school districts and community organizations to utilize flexibilities around site locations, non-congregate feeding. parent and guardian pick-up, and meal times in the 2021 operation of the Summer Food Service Program.

The Wilton Community School District is participating in the USDA Summer Food Service Program during this time, which will allow for a safe and streamlined service of nutritious meals. Meals will be provided to all children without charge.

Free meals will be provided at the sites and times as follows: Tuesdays June 1, from 11:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m., and then pickup meals will begin on Mondays starting June7, from 11:30 to 12:30. Meal pick up will be behind the school at door E12.

Each pickup will contain five days breakfast and five days of lunch items. Remember the first time is Tuesday June 1, and then starting the next week June 7, will be every Monday for the rest of the summer.
