Wilton Historical Society hopes to save Hwy 6 walnut trees

County has slated the trees for removal during roadwork

In addition to some planned pavement work being done up to the Muscatine/Cedar County line, the bridge on Hwy 927 (F58) east of Wilton’s Thayer Avenue is set to soon be replaced. With this, County Engineer Bryan Horesowsky says the row of walnut trees planted near the bridge may need to be removed.
