Stop dismantling public schools

The bill that the Iowa Legislature should be looking at is sitting on GOP Sen. Amy Sinclair's desk. Introduced by Sen. Charles McClintock (R-Alburnett) last month, the bill would require private schools receiving public money through vouchers to adhere to the same data reporting, auditing and other accountability and transparency requirements as public schools. But they are too busy dismantling our public school system. You know, the one that 91% of our kids go to.
