Ronald J. Blick, 84, passed away Saturday Oct. 3, 2026, at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City.
Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 8, at the Henderson-Barker Funeral Home in West Liberty. Visitation will be held from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Overman Cemetery in Atalissa.
Ronald Joseph Blick was born March 14, 1942, the son of Owen and Jennie O. (Am-rine) Blick. He attended Atalissa School. On Sept. 30, 1967, he was united in marriage to Donna Eves at the United Methodist Church in Tipton. He had been employed the Iowa DOT, Louis Rich Foods, and retired from the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics.
In his early years he enjoyed roller skating. He was a longtime member of the Atalissa Fire Department.
He is survived by his three children: Joseph (Kandice) Blick, Kori Blick of Atalissa and April (Aaron) Schrock of Kalona. Four grandchildren: Ashley and Alex Blick and Kenna and Tori Schrock, and one great-granddaughter, Alaina. He is also survived by three siblings: Owen Eugene Blick, Lulu Zdulski, and Kathy Blick, all of Iowa City. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Donna in 2008, and a grandchild.
