Dallas was born on Aug. 31, 1937, the son of Dallas and Violet (Lowe) Carson in Vincennes, Ind. He proudly served his country in the United States Navy. Dallas married Betty Goethals on July 7, 1962, at St. Anthony Catholic Church, Davenport. Betty passed away on Nov. 30, 2004.

Outside of work, Dallas found joy in the simple pleasures of life. He loved the out-doors, especially camping and fishing, where he could relax and appreciate nature. Above all else, Dallas cherished his family. The time he spent with them meant the world to him, and his love for them was evident in everything he did. Dallas will be remembered for his strong work ethic, his quiet enjoyment of life’s simple moments, and the deep love he had for those closest to him.
Dallas will be lovingly remembered by his daughter, Tracy (Mike) Parizek of West Liberty; two granddaughters, Erin (Logan) Recker and Ashley Carson; one great-granddaughter, Stella Recker; and his special friend, Jackie Pedersen.
