George E. Marolf, 83, of Mission, Texas, formerly of Wilton and Mediapolis, died Aug. 26, 2020. There will be no funeral at this time.
George was born Jan. 28, 1937, the son of George W. and Gladys McQuillen Marolf. He married Geraldine Broders on May 20, 1956.
George retired from Case IH Burlington in 2000, after 40-plus years in the computer department.
He liked to travel and he truly loved their time at the cabin on the Mississippi.
He is survived by his wife of 64 years and six children, Jeff Marolf, Harker Heights, Texas; Michael (Suzanne) Marolf, Bradenton, Florida; Wanda (Carl) Winstead, Peyton, Colorado; Lynette (Jim) Buesing, Stockton; Sandra (Dave) Janssen, Sperry; and Kyle (J. B.) Marolf, Ljubljana, Slovenia; 16 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren; brother Lyle (Janet) Marolf; and sister, Rita (Jerry) Sloan.
He was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers, Gerald, Warren and Robert.
