Obit: Bonnie Kincaid

Bonnie Mae (Marolf) Kincaid, 88, of Cisco, Texas, formerly of Wilton, died July 10 after a brief illness. Services and internment will be at Lakeview Gardens in Wichita, Kansas on July 17.

Bonnie was born May 3, 1932 in Wilton to Fred and Marie (Laucamp) Marolf. She was a 1950 graduate of Wilton High School and is the younger sibling of the late Betty (Marolf) Maurer and Harlan “Hy” Marolf. She was a member of the fondly remembered 1948 Beaver Belle basketball team that placed second in the Iowa State girls’ basketball tournament.

After high school, Bonnie worked as a reporter for TV Guide and traveled the Midwest covering Big 10 sporting events. She eventually enlisted in the Navy and while serving her country, met her future husband, Aubrey Kincaid, who was also serving in the Navy. They were married on January 25, 1954 in Pascagoula, Mississippi and were married for over 60 years. Aubrey passed away August 1, 2014. They loved golfing and working together and in retirement, lived on the Kincaid ranch in Cisco, Texas.

Her children arise up, and call her blessed. Bonnie is survived and will be missed by her children Aubrey, wife Pamela, Guy, wife Tina, Scott, wife Tami and her 4 grandsons, 3 granddaughters and 18 great-grandchildren.
