The terms of two members of the Wilton Oakdale Cemetery board of trustees will expire at the annual meeting of all lot owners on Jan. 14.
Currently, the board of trustees makes the decisions for the upkeep of Wilton Oakdale Cemetery. If there is no board of trustees, the upkeep and care for the cemetery will be in the hands of the state of Iowa.
Completed nomination papers for these positions, for a three-year term, must be filed by Dec. 10.
Nomination papers may be obtained from Wilton City Hall, or from Secretary Becky Hansen at 732-3208.
All lot owners and/or heirs of cemetery lots are eligible for board positions. All lot owners and/or heirs are welcome to attend monthly meetings, which are currently held on the second Thursday of each month at 9 a.m. at Wilton City Hall (the old Library). The next meeting will be Dec. 10
