Beginning Monday, May 4, County Road F58 (200th St.) will be closed to thru traffic for a culvert replacement, subdrain and ditching project from Vail Ave. (Y26) east to 60th Ave. (Y40). Prime contractor, Hagerty Earthworks LLC. will begin mobilizing equipment and personnel to begin the ditching and culvert portion of the project.
The portion of historic Highway 6 just east of Durant is scheduled to be closed through Sept. 30.
Traffic will be detoured using Yankee Ave. (Y26), Interstate 80 and 60th Avenue. (Y40). Residents are advised to use the designated detour and to use caution while traveling on the detour. F58 will be closed to thru traffic from Vail Ave. (Y26) to 60th Avenue. (Y40) for the duration of the project, which is tentatively scheduled to be completed in early fall.
As construction progresses, residents/landowners direction of access may vary.
