Budget gap alters Musser Public Library's hours, programming

The Muscatine County Board of Supervisors adopted the fiscal year 2026-2027 county budget of $34,955,168 in revenues and $50,224,110 in expenditures after a public hearing in which the director of a public library in Muscatine encouraged the board to “keep the library’s community role in mind as future budgets are shaped.”
