DES MOINES — House Speaker Pat Grassley (R-New Hartford) recently announced that Rep. Bobby Kaufmann (R-Wilton) will serve as the Chair of the House State Government Committee during the 89th General Assembly.
Kaufmann has served as Chairman of the State Government Committee since 2019, and previously chaired the Government Oversight Committee.
“Rep. Kaufmann is a proven leader who has consistently demonstrated his ability to work with stakeholders, build consensus, and get results. I know he will continue to excel as Chairman of the State Government Committee,” said Speaker Grassley.
The legislative session begins Monday, January 11, 2021.
