A staff vs students benefit basketball game for the Durant-Wilton area food pantries will be held Friday, Nov. 3, beginning at 2:40 p.m. at the Durant High School gym. Durant high school students can participate by bringing in food items as they will get a ticket for every item donated, a chance to play in the game. more

The Iowa Department of Agriculture and Land Stewardship in conjunction with the Iowa Farm Bureau Federation established the Century Farm Program for farm families that have owned at least 40 acres for 100 years, and Heritage Farm Program for those owning it 150 years or more. more
