Gary Lee Simester, 76, of Muscatine, died on Sunday, Sept. 2, 2018 at his brother’s home in Durant.
Graveside inurnment will be held on Friday, Sept. 7 at 11 a.m. at Oakdale Cemetery in Wilton.
Memorial contributions may be made to Calvary Church in Muscatine in his memory.

Gary was born in Iowa City on March 31, 1942 to Grove and Evelyn (Martens) Simester.
Gary graduated from Wilton High School and Muscatine Community College. He worked at Dahl Ford and Turnstyle in Davenport and Eastern Iowa Light and Power in Wilton.
Gary is survived by his brother Terry (Vicki) Simester of Durant as well as his nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, sister Tami Simester and brother Tim Simester.
