Ken Noble celebrating 90th birthday with family picnic

Ken Noble will be recognized on his 90th birthday, on Saturday, Sept. 16, during a family picnic at Discovery Park in Muscatine.

He was born in 1933 to Richard and Wanda Noble in rural Morning Sun.

His younger life was lived in rural Louisa and Muscatine Counties.  He served four years in the U.S. Air Force, S/Sgt, in New York, Okinawa,
Japan, and South Dakota.

Ken married Josephine Kaufmann in 1958.  They became the parents of
Morrie, Ricky, and Debra.  All were graduates of West Liberty High School.

Ken had over a 30-year career as a federal meat/poultry inspector in
eastern Iowa.  After retirement he immediately began a 20-year second
career as a consultant to food processing facilities on food
quality/safety/security.

Ken was invited into membership in Rotary International’s West Liberty
Rotary Club.  He has served over 40 years living Rotary’s motto of Service
Above Self.  Ken and Jo have had an opportunity to form friendships in
over 50 counties around the world.
