On Sunday, May 31 at 2 p.m., members of the Wilton class of 2020 will partake in a vehicle parade in celebration of graduating from Wilton High School.
The parade route will be the same as the annual Founders Day parade route. It will begin at the high school parking lot, with cars gathering at 1:40 p.m.
Students will travel past Wilton Retirement Community, west on Summit Street, south on Maurer, east through downtown on Fourth Street, and back north past City Park to the parking lot on Cypress Street.
Student council president Taylor Garvin began organizing the event and nearly all of the seniors are making plans to participate. She got approval from Principal Marc Snavely before talking with the city of Wilton and its fire and police departments.
