Wilton High School class of 2020 grad parade

Posted

Wilton High School held a parade for graduating seniors May 31, and the class of 2020 had perfect weather for a parade of cars around Wilton along the annual Founders Day route. Schools have been closed since mid March due to the COVID-19 pandemic. A traditional graduation ceremony was rescheduled for July 12. The parade of cars was organized entirely by seniors, spearheaded by student council president Taylor Garvin. Seniors rode predominately in their own vehicles in order to practice social distancing. A video of the parade is available at the Advocate News Facebook page and more photos are available online.
