Betty Mae Klima, 87, of Coggon, Iowa, died on Tuesday, July 13, 2021 at the Silver Oak Nursing Home in Marion, Iowa.
Private family graveside services were held Sunday, July 25 at Mount Olivet Cemetery in Coggon, where inurnment will also take place.
She was born on Nov. 12, 1933 in Lowden, Iowa, the daughter of Marvin and Lena (Vozenilek) Jeffery. Betty was raised in the Lowden area and was a graduate of Lowden High School.
In 1955, Betty was married to Dennis Pesek in Cedar Rapids. One son was born to this union. The couple later divorced. In 1974, Betty was united in marriage to William Klima in South Dakota. William passed away in 1997.
Survivors include her son, Craig (Denise) Pesek of Coggon; three grandchildren; and two sisters, Jean King of Wilton and Mary (Robert) Frey of Durant.
Betty was preceded in death by her parents, and her husband William.
