Vikki L. Beinke, 71, of Wilton, Iowa, died Monday, Sept. 20, 2021, at UnityPoint Health – Trinity Rock Island, Rock Island, Illinois.
Cremation will take place at Trimble Crematory, Moline, Illinois, under the direction of Cremation Society of the Quad Cities. Condolences may be shared at CremationQC.com.
The former Vikki Lee Wilken was born Dec. 18, 1949, in Fort Dodge, Iowa, the daughter of Herman “Sonny” and Phyllis Wilson Wilken. She married Dennis Beinke on July 12, 1975 at the Methodist church in Wilton.
She taught seventh grade language arts at Wilton Junior High School for more than 30 years. Vikki was an avid reader, and enjoyed spending time with her family.
Vikki is survived by her husband Dennis; children Joshua Beinke of Edmond, Oklahoma and Jessica Moore of Wilton; granddaughter Taylor Simons of Wilton; and sister Chlea Rafdal of Everly, Iowa. She was preceded in death by her parents and sister Reatha DeGroot.
