Sharon E. Sterner, 73, of Wilton, died Friday, April 17, 2020, at Lutheran Living of Muscatine. A private family visitation will be held.

Sharon was born in Iowa City on Sept. 1, 1946 to John and Phyllis (Dierdorff) Walker. Sharon graduated from West Liberty High School in 1964 and later attended Muscatine Community College. Sharon married David M. Sterner on July 17, 1965 in Moscow.
She worked as a CNA for numerous area nursing homes. She enjoyed reading, cats and puzzles.
Sharon is survived by her husband David; daughter, Wanetta (Sue) Dykema-Sterner; sons Troy (Pam) Sterner, Raymond (Erin) Sterner and Travis Sterner all of Wilton; 7 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren; sisters Sandy Keim of LeClaire, Mary (Bill) Carr of Wilton, Denise (Raymond) Salemink of South Bend, Indiana and Jill Peterson of Wilton; and brothers, Terry (Bobbie) Walker of Walcott and Bruce (Sally) Walker of Wilton.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
