Scott Funderburk, 58, died Thursday, Sept. 12, 2019, from complications related to chemotherapy in Georgetown, Texas.
The family will receive guests and a memorial service will follow on Saturday, Oct. 5, at 11 a.m., at St. Paul’s United Methodist Church, 1901 Lexington Avenue, Monroe, LA 71201.

Scott was born June 29, 1961, in Monroe, Louisiana. He was a 1979 graduate of Wilton High School, did a tour in the U.S. Army, and worked his adult life as an Information Technology technician and consultant for private enterprises, the federal government (FEMA) and the state of Texas.
He is survived by his wife Melonie; parents Bill and Wilma; and brothers and sisters Mike, Mark, Kathy and Tracy.
