Sandra Joan Paulsen, 81, of Durant, Iowa, died on Wednesday, Nov. 3, 2021 at her home in Durant. Visitation was held Friday, Nov. 5 at Bentley Funeral Home, Durant. A funeral service was held Saturday, Nov. 6 at the funeral home with a visitation held prior to the service. Burial will take place in Durant Cemetery.

Sandi was born at home on April 9, 1940, the daughter of Thomas and Violet (Dittmer) Wolf. She graduated from Davenport High School with the class of 1958. Sandi was a homemaker who treasured taking care of her family. The greatest love of her life was spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Sandi liked playing dominoes, cards, and participated in various clubs. She also enjoyed sewing, cooking, gardening and dancing.
Sandi will be dearly missed by three daughters, Shelley (Doug) Lincoln of Stockton, Darcy (Pat) Cowan of Ankeny, and Kayla (Jim) Ruter of Shannon, Illinois; one son, Bart (Linda) Paulsen of Stockton; 14 grandchildren, Tad (Marissa) Lincoln, Nate (Kelly) Lincoln, Joel Lincoln, Jana (Ben) Gauthier, Phillip (Nikki) Cowan, Gregory (Breanna) Cowan, Stephen Cowan, Kelli Paulsen, Katelyn (Aaron) Ellenberg, Kyle (Hannah) Paulsen, Kurt (Allison) Paulsen, Jared (Tamara) Ruter, Taylor (Drew) Carroll and Clayton (fiancée, Shaye) Ruter; 13 great-grandchildren, Harper, Rowan, Emmitt, Clay, Halle, Karson, Kennedy, Kynlie, Brody, Jace, Emma, Ella and Coe; and one brother, Dennis (Launa) Wolf of Walcott.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
