Richard Lane Grage, 69, formally of Durant, died Saturday, Feb. 20, 2021 in Arizona City, Arizona. Cards may be sent to Jen Grage: 1689 210th Street, Durant, Iowa 52747. There will be a celebration of life at a later date.
Richard was born June 27, 1951 in Davenport, Iowa. He was the son of John and Marie Niles Grage.
Richard graduated in 1969 from Bennett High School.
He married Nancy Lee Haulk on June 3, 1972 at St. Mary’s Church in Wilton. They were married for 47 years.
He worked as a truck driver for Price’s Oil, liquid Grow, and D and D trucking.
Richard enjoyed riding motorcycles and spending time with his children and grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife Nancy, sons Toby and wife Jen, and Shane, all of Durant; 14 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren; brothers Jack (Kate) Grage of New Liberty, Doug Grage of Davenport; and Sister Diane (Dennis) Kelding of Calamus.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one grandson Lukas, and one granddaughter Justice.
