Judy Eileen Morton, 79, of Blue Grass, Iowa, died Tuesday, March 23, 2021, at Genesis Medical Center East Campus, Davenport. A memorial service was held March 27 at Blue Grass Presbyterian Church. Memorials may be given to a charity of the donor’s choice in her memory. Online condolences may be left at www.bentleyfuneralhome.com.

Judy was born in Muscatine, Iowa on Nov. 11, 1941, the daughter of William and Elizabeth (Altman) Felhahn. She graduated from Durant High School. Judy married Keith Morton on March 9, 1963 in Muscatine.

Judy was a pediatric nurse at St. Luke’s Hospital in Davenport from 1961-1965. Judy and her family moved to England in 1965, and later returned to Durant in 1983. She also operated an in-home daycare in her home in Durant and Blue Grass. Judy was best known while working at White Way restaurant in Durant, where she catered many events.

She was a member of the Blue Grass Presbyterian Church, where she was very active and helped serve many funeral lunches. She was also a member of the Blue Grass American Legion Auxiliary. Most of all, Judy cherished listening to Elvis Presley, and collecting teddy bears and antique glassware.

Judy will be dearly missed by her husband, Keith; two daughters, Karen Morton of Davenport and Jean Morton of Surprise, Arizona; son-in-law, Jim Hamilton of Durant; four granddaughters, Hannah (Nathan) Warhurst of Australia, Heidi (Nathan) Russ of Stockton, Kelsey Morton of Davenport and Brittany Morton of Davenport; two great-grandsons, Bradley and Levi Warhurst; and one brother, Randall (Polly) Geurink of Muscatine.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and her daughter, Joyce Hamilton.
